Cafe23 is a family-run coffee bar tucked behind curtains of ivy on Queen Street West. What began as a tiny espresso window has grown, plant by plant and lantern by lantern, into one of Toronto's most beloved garden patios.

We take mornings seriously and afternoons even more so. Beans are pulled fresh, milk is textured by hand, and our pastries — cinnamon rolls, scones, muffins, buttery croissants — come out warm from the oven throughout the day.

Come alone with a book. Come with your dog. Come with a first date. There's always a corner among the leaves waiting for you.
